Asset Management Coordinator

We are looking for an Asset Management Coordinator to make an impact that matters.

The Commercial Asset Management team is responsible for the performance of assets managed by Better Energy. You will closely collaborate with colleagues in the Commercial Department of Better Energy Denmark from all stages of the projects that Better Energy originates, develops, builds, and operates.

You will report to the Senior Manager in Commercial Asset Management Denmark and belong to the fast-growing department currently consisting of 9 dedicated and talented colleagues across our Asset Management team.

How you will make a difference in Better Energy
As our new colleague, you have a relevant background in commercial project management and you preferably bring some experience from the energy sector.

The team and role are under development, and you play an essential role in shaping the team. There are opportunities to work remotely from Kolding or Sønderborg for the right candidate.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• After proper training, gradually take charge of managing the commercial aspects of your assigned assets in Denmark, ensuring you fulfill the requirements of the Commercial Management Agreement throughout the lifespan of the assets and associated entities
• Management and governance of contracts for your appointed assets, in close collaboration with Legal.
• Handle cases, report on their impact, and assist in finding solutions to mitigate risks.
• Manage of improvement initiatives for your appointed assets and the portfolio.
• Optimisation of the operational assets’ performance in close collaboration with the Finance Investment Management and the Technical Asset Management team.
• Point of contact internally for all commercial matters on your appointed assets.
• Deliver on recurring and ad hoc tasks related to the Commercial Asset Management team.

So, who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, engineering, legal or related, interdisciplinary fields.
• Ideally, experienced in commercial asset management or project management, or within the renewable energy sector from student jobs or similar.
• Financial and business performance understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Danish communication skills are an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, most importantly strong competence in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint.
• High personal drive, deliver high quality, committed, and dedicated.
• Enjoy working in an international workplace with multi-cultural teams.
• Professional attitude, high work ethics and high energy level.
• Thrive in setting up processes and create structure and efficiency.
• Flexible style and ability to work under pressure and getting things done both independently as well as in teams.
