Senior Legal Counsel

What you will do
As our new Senior Legal Counsel, you will take on an important role in the Legal team - reporting directly to the General Counsel - by providing legal support to different internal departments. You will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements within all business areas, including supply time contracts, installation and construction contracts, procurement and supply chain agreements, repair agreements, license agreements and other business-related agreements and supporting documents.
Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Driving standardization and process improvements in collaboration with other internal teams, including Contract Management and Procurement.
- Supporting the business in identifying legal liabilities and risks and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Supporting the business in disputes and litigation.
- Overseeing Cadeler’s insurances and supporting the business units in insurance related matters.
- Maintaining corporate housekeeping and ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate governance, including advising on regulatory matters.
- Supporting new country entrance and presence, including leading legal due diligence.
- Ensuring proper training and awareness of key legal related topics to colleagues globally.
- Liaising with and managing external counsel.
- Overseeing and managing the approval process for Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).

You possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize issues.
Furthermore, integrity is part of your DNA, and you have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality within your areas of responsibility.
We think you will be a good match if you:
- Hold a master’s degree in law.
- Have approximately +5 years of global experience from in-house legal teams or private practice.
- Have experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably within the offshore industry.
- Have experience structuring and executing special projects across multiple jurisdictions.
- Are fluent in English, oral as well as written.
