IT Systems Administrator

And this is where you come into the picture. We are looking for a new team member to join us on the ongoing transition from classic on-premises-based infrastructure to a modern hybrid-based landscape.

Your core responsibility will be managing NORDEN’s daily infrastructure operations. Acting as technical lead on implementation, integration, and migration projects – while doing day-to-day operational activities and keeping the lights green in close cooperation with the IT support team will be your main areas of responsibility.

You will contribute to defining the future infrastructure and data landscape of NORDEN.

Have an impact on NORDEN’s success through your passion for technology
The transition, in which you will play a key role, will involve many aspects of services in on-prem to public cloud. From designing and implementing networking, services, and security, to operational responsibilities involving optimizing, monitoring, and troubleshooting post-deployment.

You will enter a great team-based and international environment working with both local and international colleagues. You will be based in our headquarters in Copenhagen supporting all business units and all 14 offices worldwide, and you will become part of a philosophy and work culture of informality, knowledge-sharing, autonomy, freedom of innovative ideas, and responsibility to the individual.

You will be part of the IT Operations & Service Desk team, which consists of 14 people. You will report to the Head of IT Operations & Service Desk.

The tasks that await you
More specifically your main areas of work will be to:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of NORDEN’s IT environment.
• Optimize and automate processes related to our IT deliveries
• Enhance the ways of working, by challenging the known and exploring new options
• Act as a sparring partner to help both IT and the business make the right decisions on transformation projects through the effective use of cloud services.
• Assist your IT colleagues in troubleshooting and solving incidents.

Your competencies and core qualifications
As a person, you take pride in building good relationships with stakeholders, and are committed and able to work on your own, while still prioritising the needs of the team. It is energising for you to work around both technology and support. And you want to build upon your competencies on the area and pass your knowledge on to colleagues.

Apart from this you have:

• Experience in working within Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL server, and data protection
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Virtualization.
