Product & Market Support is part of our Technical Sales Enablement function, which works as the critical interface between Sales and R&D functions. We have an important part in supporting our Technical Sales regions with product customization and maintenance activities by overseeing critical activities, budgets, and plans.

We are a small team of innovative program and project managers, that take pride in providing the crucial support needed by our technical sales teams by managing stakeholders and activities across several functions. In addition to planning and supporting the execution of activities, we aim to take part in guiding the organization and transforming ideas into reality that will further improve the ways we are working.

At the heart of our department lies our involvement in overseeing customization activities and providing support to technical sales for new product introductions. We work closely together with project, product management, and engineering functions and have the mindset that no request is too complex for our team to handle.

In tandem with our involvement in customization and supporting new product introductions is our Product Maintenance Program. We meticulously oversee the regulatory compliance and technical documentation aspects of our products and work tirelessly to obtain and maintain certifications from relevant authorities and to guarantee that our offerings when it comes to technical documentation and certificates are kept up to date.

In essence, our team works as a key element between technical sales and the coordination of activities across our product development and engineering functions.

Responsibilities
The lead for Product maintenance plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet regulatory requirements, maintain necessary certifications, and are supported by the required accurate technical documentation. You will be overseeing our practices and processes and helping to foster collaboration across teams.

  • Oversee and plan activities to ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements for existing products.
  • Monitor the process of handling requests, coordinating, and planning deliveries.
  • Oversee and plan activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of product-related technical documentation, e.g. installation and construction.
  • Take part in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the certification and documentation workflow
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on certification and documentation activities, progress and challenges.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role must possess a combination of relevant industry or business experience as well as personal qualities to guide a wide range of different stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business disciplines
  • + 5 years of demonstrated experience in roles related to project management within large organizations, certification or documentation management. Experience in program and project leadership is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with project and certification processes. Understanding regulatory compliance and documentation management will be highly relevant. Certified in at least one project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2)
  • Proficiency in using software and tools for project management and document management (e.g. JIRA and SAP PPM)

  • You will be developing the Product Maintenance program so the ability to motivate, foster collaboration, and deliver results and improvements is valued.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying root causes, and possible improvements, and implementing effective solutions to address issues. You have the ability and interest to acquire knowledge about the essential elements of the work of your stakeholders.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders. You can negotiate with stakeholders and find compromises and mutually beneficial solutions.
  • You can work across several different tasks simultaneously and have a keen interest in upholding the highest standards for your project activities and budget.
