As our new colleague, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our responsible sourcing governance framework. You will drive continuous improvement and impact the responsible sourcing of raw materials by ensuring compliance and quality of our sourcing and supplier management processes.

A wide range of responsibilities
As our new Global Sourcing Governance Specialist, you will be the main responsible for maintaining and developing supplier quality management in the Group Sourcing department. You will become part of the Global Sourcing Governance & Analytics team, who maintain and manage data and processes related to supplier management, contracts, and traceability.

Working from our office in Aarhus, your main tasks will be:

• Supplier approval and onboarding.
• Risk assessing suppliers and raw materials.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement and optimization of the sourcing governance framework.
• Keeping our procedure documentation up to date and ensuring that procedures are correctly followed.
• Training new divisions and employees.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to follow up and resolve any issues related to sourcing governance.
• Participating in the implementation of our new supplier management system.

Furthermore, depending on your qualifications and experience, you may also be tasked with participating in audits, as well as conducting social risk assessments and due diligence evaluations.

Change agent and quality advocate
We anticipate that you have experience dealing with supplier and quality management systems and that you possess a relevant educational background.

Furthermore, the role requires that you:

• Work methodically and detail-oriented.
• Are motivated by driving change while maintaining quality in core processes in a dynamic environment.
• Take on responsibility and contribute with new ideas and improve processes.
• Work independently, have a structured approach to your tasks and projects, and take pride in seeing them through to completion.

You are characterized by a can-do attitude and have an ambition to make an impact.

As we have subsidiaries in multiple countries and have many international colleagues and partners, it is a requirement that you write and speak English fluently. Although English will be a part of your daily work-life, it is an advantage if you also speak a Scandinavian language as much communication will be in Scandinavian.

Responsible sourcing in a global team
The Group Sourcing department ensures the responsible sourcing of raw materials used globally in BioMar facilities. This includes maintaining a balance between strict requirements for nutrition, technical quality, and sustainability with price considerations and logistics strategies.

You will be completing your tasks in a company culture, which is flat and sociable. Autonomy, ownership of own tasks, and close collaboration with competent colleagues in an international and dynamic environment will be your everyday life. 5-10 days of travel activity each year can be expected, and you will be able to work hybrid.
