Job Description
At Danfoss we master advanced, heat-control technology that optimizes user comfort, safety and energy savings. Now we are looking for Quality Engineer in HydronicS Division (EER, CER) responsible for sustainable quality performance of our Externally Manufactured Products (products produced by our business partners: branded, traded, and/or outsourced). You will become a part of Quality organization, co-operating with Danfoss colleagues from other countries as well as with our suppliers and customers.

You will be expected to excel in a fast pace, growing company and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement. You will need to have outstanding interpersonal communication skills to deal with our customers, co-workers, and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities
This is End-to-End quality function with principal aim to ensure expected quality and drive continuous improvement for Externally Manufactured Products, starting from sourcing of new products, through the product and process development and finally products life-time quality performance management.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • ensure structured APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process for new sourced products,
  • handle customer’s and supplier’s complaints,
  • improve quality, reliability and performance of our EMP products with monitoring, planning & coordination of activities related to solving quality and application issues with strong preventive aim.

Background & Skills
As a person you are quality and result oriented. You can work independently and systematically, while at the same time you are also a good team player, who can interact and communicate well with people at all levels and from different functions and countries.

To be considered for this position, you have an educational background from a technical environment (preferable electronics) and Quality Engineer experience, as well as:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with quality assurance, problem solving and management systems, driven by IATF16949 and related quality Core Tools,
  • Experience with claim handling process, new product/process development process and generic engineering practice in industry (preferably electronics - PCBA production),
  • Preferable knowledge of industrial heating products, especially in hydronic heating applications,
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills along with a good understanding of other cultures,
  • Fluent in English.
