About the department

Located in Måløv, Non-clinical Data Management is part of Global Discovery & Development Sciences and we work in a regulated area (GLP and GCP). We are a pioneering data management group who build up data management processes in an area unfamiliar with working with standardised data. The implementation of Standard for Exchange of Nonclinical Data (SEND) requirements is anchored in our department. The department consists of nine data management colleagues and we would welcome working with you.

The position

You will support Data Managers in the Non-clinical Data Management team in day-to-day business processes and tasks. The Data Managers are responsible for the non-clinical data flow through the systems we use for collecting data in-house and for reception of data from contract research organisations (CROs) to our non-clinical data repository. In your role, you will work with the Data Managers to create supportive tools, e.g. a tool for input and overview of metadata in non-clinical studies and a tool to ease validation of files from the CROs.

  • Internship period: 3-6 months
  • Working hours: Flexible (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
  • Start date: 1 February 2019
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

Qualifications

You are studying towards a BSc or MSc within IT, Natural Sciences or similar and preferably have knowledge and experience from the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP knowledge. Experience with SAS or other programming tools is considered an asset.

As a person, your overview is excellent and you possess strong cooperation skills. You work independently, take on responsibility and show initiative. Furthermore, you are a strong coordinator who speaks and writes English fluently.
