The Corporate Communications function in Maersk is tasked with safeguarding the reputation of Maersk and telling the Maersk story to audiences internally and externally.

Key responsibilities
You will be a key contributor towards keeping employees engaged and informed about the strategy and transformation of Maersk, by developing and deploying a consistent channel strategy directed towards employee audiences.

The role holder will be responsible for introducing and implementing new and existing channels, ensuring they are used properly, advising on how to use them, and measure their effectiveness and adapt when necessary.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

•Developing a channel strategy for use across Maersk – working closely with IT and associated vendors to ensure consistent use of channels by the communications team, functions and businesses

•Work with IT as an owner of the intranet, represent communications in governance meetings

•Ensure adequate training and guidance in place on channel usage and governance

•Ensure measurement in place on relevance and usage of channels- adapt as necessary

•Advise on formats to best suit channels and ensure widest reach across the organization

Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor and primary stakeholders.

We are looking for
The idea candidate will hold a BA degree in Digital Communications, IT, or other related discipline combined with previous experience developing, deploying and managing multiple internal channels for a large company or in a corporate newsroom type environment.

Furthermore previous experience in helping to guide and advise on content formats for various channels is a requirement and international experience a plus.


•Have advanced skills in SharePoint Online.

•Have solid understanding of IT landscape and processes in order to collaborate closely with IT colleagues to propose and support implementation of digital channel solutions.

•Are a self-starter and quick learner who can challenge and help overcome the status quo.

•Have an affinity to technology and willing to learn and implement communication channels.

•Are flexible with the ability to manage multiple topics and projects simultaneously.

•Take full ownership and responsibility of projects, with the tenacity to see them through.

•Hands-on, can-do attitude; a person who is willing to propose and try something new at the same time as being a
collaborative, team player.

•Are a ‘People person’ who can build strong networks with internal stakeholders.

•A person who is passionate about internal channels, captivating content and ensuring corporate messages reach a wide range of internal audiences.
