Academic scientist, Assistant Professor of Satellite Geodesy, leading the thematic research area of "Earth Orbital Space monitoring" with focus on low Earth orbiters, space debris and future space missions.

Lead coordinator of the courses in satellite geodesy, GNSS, satellite navigation, Earth satellite missions, estimation theory, scientific programming.

Creator of the GEORB (Gravity and precisE ORBit determination system), an open source software for precise orbit determination of low Earth orbiters, gravity field recovery and space mission design (Papanikolaou 2023). GEORB currently delivers data products for NASA/GFZ’ GRACE missions.
