Core Responsibilities
The mission:

As an intern in the Operational Technology (OT) Department you will play an important role in investigating vision tools for our LEGO production quality. You will be a member of a team, where your contribution will be to:

• Analyze and asset situation to properly define the best solution structure.
• Investigate different vision hardware solution.
• Used available neural network and company tool to detect images details.
• Developed a proof of concept to solve the identified challenge.

Our Team:

You will be joining our OT Engineering team within OT (Operational Technology) who is responsible for developing an automation roadmap in quality for the entire operation process. To do so, we reach out to partners to define projects that would bring significant value to the operations and define their feasibility and impact. The purpose is to increase our productivity and improve the delivered quality.

As an intern, you will be asked to assess the feasibility of a defined project and develop a proof of concept to solve it. You will have access to different vision equipment and high computing power. Furthermore, you get the chance to work with an international team, composed of experts in their fields, from which you can benefit and draw upon their guidance and support.

Do you have what it takes?
Your profile:

You are pursuing a master’s degree focusing on Artificial Intelligence or Vision System.

You must have:

• You are equipped with a proactive attitude and a team player mentality. You appreciate learning from others without being afraid to ask for help and get energized by supporting others.
• You have knowledge in Python, scripting and using API’s.
• You have knowledge of classical computer vision tasks (Blob detection, feature extraction, etc.)
• You have worked with ML and Deep learning before.
• You are able to be at our Headquarters in Billund minimum three days a week

The following would be advantage:

• You have knowledge about Docker/containerization.
• You have experience with automated and robotic industrial system.
• You have experience with LEAN and/or SixSigma methodologies.
• You have been in Safety Shoes on the Shopfloor before
• You have experience working in iterative sprints with preferably knowledge in AGILE, SCRUM and product-oriented approaches
