Are you curious about the energy markets and like to learn how a leading energy trading company operates? Would you like to use your sense of structure and eye for details to create value for the business in a broad administrative role? If yes, you are in the right place!

The job

Here’s what the job entails
In the role, your responsibility will cover a wide range of administrative tasks, from managing legal documents to setting up traders on trading platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • handle and maintain registrations of legal documents for subsidiaries and branches and investigate legal requirements
  • manage Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requests and documentation from for instance counterparties, banks and exchanges
  • perform internal cost allocation and approving invoices
  • assist with market research to ensure we have the right market access set up in all the countries where we do business
  • coordinate registrations and licences with internal and external stakeholders, such as traders, authorities and regulators on an ongoing basis

The team

Meet the team
You will be joining our Market Access team, where we ensure Danske Commodities has continuous access to current markets and products while also preparing for new market entries and product launches. In short, we enable traders to access the products and markets they want to trade in. This means that we act as a business partner to the organisation and add value by supporting the trading units.

We are a team of four dedicated specialists with diverse backgrounds, and what brings us together is our shared goal: taking our business to new heights. We enjoy social activities with our colleagues in the Legal & Compliance unit. If you are passionate about what you do and want to have fun in a team of bright minds, you will feel right at home with us in the Market Access team.

You will play an important role in the organisation by helping to ensure market access in existing and new markets.

Your qualifications

But enough about us… over to you!
Since you will have an administrative focus and will be working with many various tasks and stakeholders, it is important that you are good at planning and have great stakeholder management skills. We also picture you as someone who enjoys working in a structured manner as there are various processes and deadlines to follow. And if the structure is not there yet, we hope that you will be able to help create it.

We also imagine that you:

  • have an educational background within (business) administration, economics, law or value chain management – but your education is not the tipping point

Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
