A Position That Will Take Your Development Further
We are looking for a motivated student to contribute to the development of our ESG foundation, aligning with our strategy focused on sustainable business practices and global impact in the green transition. With nearly 8,000 employees worldwide, we emphasize transparency and enhancement of ESG performance and reporting.

Anchored in Group Finance and led by Senior Manager Lisa Ståhl, the ESG team collaborates closely with stakeholders and senior management. As part of our holistic approach to value creation, we are actively preparing for reporting under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We are targeting students in their 2nd or 3rd year of studies, the position offers flexibility and requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week, with a start date as soon as possible.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be:

  • Assisting ESG team colleagues in preparing COWI’s external ESG reporting and assessment frameworks, such as the Annual Report, UN Global Compact, CDP, etc., while also supporting data owners in updating and storing data, maintaining process documentation, and collating ESG data and information for the business.
  • Supporting data deliverables such as carbon accounting.
  • Researching best practices within ESG performance and reporting.
  • Delivering content to internal and external communication channels and assist in producing specific input to Management decision material
  • Carrying out organizational tasks on a needs basis

To succeed in this position, we believe that you:

  • Are studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree related to sustainability.
  • Have excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) with a good understanding of the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Have an interest in ESG data and processes to support the implementation of new sustainability reporting regulations at a large company.
  • Take initiative, are solution-oriented, naturally take ownership of tasks, and have a structured way of working and an eye for details.
  • Are ambitious and motivated to deliver your best and thrive in a high-paced and agile environment.
  • Enjoy researching, organizing, and checking large amounts of data and information.
