The Rewards Lead at Maersk will be partnering closely with senior members in the Maersk People Function. The Rewards Lead will own the strategic Rewards agenda for several business areas, and as the subject matter expert, advise and coach senior leaders on rewards principles and frameworks.

Further the Rewards Lead will guide on how the available rewards elements should be leveraged and prioritized to deliver the strategy most efficiently and effectively for their area of responsibility.

Reporting to the Head of Global Rewards with one direct report

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sustainable and innovative Rewards solutions that enable all colleagues and Maersk to thrive.
  • Optimize the value of the people investment by engaging colleagues and ensuring awareness of the rewards offered.
  • Ensure seamless and consistent delivery of rewards across the organization.
  • Uphold and continuously improve rewards principles and frameworks.
  • Focus on wellbeing and care to promote empathy throughout the organization. Partner closely with senior leaders in the Maersk People Function to drive the Rewards agenda.
  • Advise and coach senior leaders on rewards principles and frameworks.
  • Guide on leveraging and prioritizing rewards elements to efficiently deliver business strategy.
  • Design, develop, and deploy new rewards solutions that support business needs.
  • Manage compensation for Executives in collaboration with Executive Rewards.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the People Function and Rewards Delivery organization to ensure end-to-end rewards agenda is managed and delivered effectively.

What are we looking for

  • 12+ years of experience in rewards management.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in rewards.
  • Ability to partner effectively and maintain a balanced and pragmatic approach.
  • Business acumen, financial, and economics knowledge. Can-do attitude, active listening, and cooperative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new business areas.
