We are looking for a Director, Commercial Excellence to lead our team of currently 3 people who is accountable for building new capabilities and driving commercial excellence across the commercial organization.

The role
To further strengthen our focus on growth and commercial success, we are looking for a Director, Commercial Excellence to join our team. You will be part of the EMEA/APAC leadership team and report to our Senior Sales Director.

Your main responsibility is to lead the team to support the revenue growth by enhancing sales performance, quality and efficiency through the development and implementation of concrete initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design, implementation, and enhancement of our Commercial Playbook to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in generating revenue across teams.
  • Owning the Commercial Academy to ensure the organization gets targeted coaching, training, and support to elevate their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborating with our CRM team to streamline processes and reporting across our CRM platform (HubSpot) and other relevant tools.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Experience, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure successful commercial activation of new offerings.
  • Together with sales leadership, develop and refine revenue-driven sales initiatives and strategies aligned with business objectives and priorities.
  • Support the team in playing a pivotal resource in driving revenue growth by actively participating in key deals, tenders, and on named accounts.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and best practices in sales excellence to inform innovative strategies and drive revenue-focused decision-making.
  • Providing decisive leadership and guidance to the Sales Excellence team, nurturing a culture of excellence, and optimizing revenue-generating opportunities all while adhering to the company values and Sales Mantras.

Requirements

  • +8 years experience of working in B2B sales leadership and/or commercial development positions preferably from the Software (SaaS) industry or top tier consultancy company.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of Sales and/or Key Account Management and Commercial Excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to transform complex business challenges into opportunities and present effectively to all layers of management and liaise cross-functionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, proven ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ambitious with a track record of delivering strong results through analysis, insights, collaboration and the ability to make things happen and within tight deadlines.
  • High capacity to lead and work in a constantly changing environment is a must-have.
  • Structured, proactive and professional approach, always seeking for creating progression.
  • Energized by a performance, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
