Denmark’s strongest cyber team needs you! Both in Aarhus and Copenhagen

Full-time job
Eastern Jutland
Greater Copenhagen
Øresund region

We need you whether you are into offensive or defensive IT security. Do you have deep experience or a strong potential? Are you passionate about the cyber agenda and ready to win it? If so, the world’s largest cyber risk entity needs you!

What impact will you make?
Do you want to make a difference while developing your skills in a dynamic and inclusive corporate culture building on co-operation, curiosity and sky-high ambitions? Then Deloitte is the right place for you. We take pride in recognising and unlocking your full potential, offering you an environment of strong professionals in which you can unfold your special interests.

Your team
You will become a member of Denmark's and Scandinavia's largest cyber team, co-operating with colleagues whose main focus is to be among the best in their fields. You will be working at our office in Aarhus or Copenhagen, but most often you will be working at our clients’ premises. If you dream of working internationally, you will have plenty of opportunities to do so. We are experiencing “growing pains” these days and are in the process of preparing for the rapidly changing threat picture, which is best done through new resources. Our mindset? Having a clear understanding of the threats combined with deep insight into how we make our clients' business properly prepared for their specific levels of threat.

At our workplace, we focus on having fun, being inspired and ensuring diversity in terms of staffing and mindset. Testing wild ideas must be an option. We refer to ourselves as ethical hackers, penetration testers, incident reponders and analysts, but we are indeed also cyber strategists, technology experts and IT specialists co-operating across countries with our 6,500+ colleagues around the world.

Your tasks
Can you be a Red Team player and identify the creative holes in IT systems or use your skills to fly under the radar even in modern SIEM systems? Can you bypass AV blindfold, do you love Word Macros, do you laugh at UAC and are you able to hack into a car or encrypt a refrigerator? Then read on, please! At Deloitte, you will be given the opportunity to grapple with our clients’ best and safest systems. You will be co-testing the security of critical infrastructure and closed networks at some of the largest and best secured enterprises in Scandinavia.

Are you a Blue Team player who enjoys capturing script kiddies in your HoneyPots and spotting hackers before the first SYN? Are your dreams tcpdump -xx or x86 outputs, are you a ShimCache diver or can you always spot the svchost.exe that does not belong there? Then you might be the perfect candidate for our defensive team of cyber experts. As a member of this team, you will be joining your colleagues in chasing hackers in compromised systems, installing monitoring systems and applying leading AI technologies in your hunt for hackers.

Operational cyber security
Or are you more of a System Administrator who is able to secure everything? Is your standard reply to any challenge: ”I’ll make a script for that”, and are you a shark at virtualisation and backup? Are you able to segment a network in a couple of hours and create a GPO which is able to protect even the oldest of systems? We will be really pleased if you have made guided tours in ELK, Splunk or QRadar. Please contact us if you are the right person to assist us in the protection of our clients' systems.

Maybe you dream of working within all of these areas but have not yet had the chance to develop your skills in this. If this is the case, please apply for the position anyway and benefit from the opportunity to attend an introductory study programme at Deloitte's Cyber Academy and be trained in how to counter modern cyber threats.

We believe that management exists at all levels. This is why we promote a culture encouraging our employees to assume responsibility and leadership at their particular skill levels. Your career may develop in many directions – always supported by your immediate superior. Whether or not you have an ardent desire to engage in IT security, many years of experience in project management or processes, or a strong gene for business, you are more than welcome to contact us.

Your qualifications
First of all, you need to be passionate about IT security. The decisive factor is not whether you have a full git account with your own tools and written your own rootkit, or read everything in the media related to IT security and is able to tell stories about previous virus attacks occuring back in the 90s. The important thing is that you have a very strong interest in IT security.

In addition, you need to be full of energy and have a desire to learn new things and be challenged.

We imagine that you have experience in IT security – either in terms of technology or project work and management. You may have many years of practical experience or experience resulting from your interests and education.

Our fields of work include: Cyber Strategy, GDPR, Security Management, Penetration Testing, Forensics, Vulnerability Management, SCADA/ICS Security, Threat Intelligence, SIEM, Incident Response, Intrusion Detection, Code Review, Patch Management, Baselining, Network Infrastructure, Firewall Management, Cyber Asset Management, Reverse Engineering, Application Whitelisting, Log Management, Physical Security, Surveillance, System Hardening, Disaster Recovery, Secure Product Development Lifecycle Practices, Awareness & Training, Incident Management, Data Classification & Loss Prevention, HR Security, Vendor Management and Identity and Access Management.

In all of these areas, we apply a strategic, tactical and operational approach.

So where do you fit in? Feel free to ask us and find out if we can team up!

Impact that matters
We are all driven by a common objective: to make an impact that matters. Every single day. We measure the success of our solutions by quality, integrity and innovation, and only the best is good enough. We do not only want to develop solutions – we want to leave a clear footprint that leads to positive and decisive change for people around us, our clients and society as a whole.
