Oticon is looking for a skilled Bluetooth developer, who can help to develop Bluetooth solutions for hearing aids and wireless accessories. You will be part of a dynamic team consisting of 13 very skilled and dedicated Software developers. The team is responsible for designing and implementing embedded software for Oticon’s in house developed ASICs, which are used in Oticon’s hearing instruments. Besides the daily dialogue with your software colleagues, you can look forward to interfacing with many different parts of the organization in an agile culture.
In your daily work you will be part of a self-managed SCRUM team, which will be involved in all stages of the development process from the initial specification to design and architecture and the final implementation and testing through a tight relationship with the product owner. Your working days will be truly diverse and you should be prepared to handle a variety of different tasks such as:
- Adding new features to the hearing aids for the benefit of the end users
- Designing and implementing Bluetooth functionalities towards external devices (e.g. smartphones, and own developed devices)
- Utilizing complex Linux-based build flows
- Implementing and debugging multi-core/multi-chip embedded SW
- Using your skills to provide the best solution when tight hardware resources constraints apply
- Interdisciplinary cooperating with many disciplines within R&D
- Working on feasibility projects to explore new opportunities
- Being involved in ear to ear communication
- Being part of innovating new end user solutions

Solid experience with Software development
In order for you to be able to handle the challenges and responsibilities of this position, we expect you to hold an M.SC.E.E or similar. This should preferably be complemented by 3 years of work experience from a relevant industry, e.g. Bluetooth- and network industries. However, if you have other relevant background we are also interested in hearing from you. Besides a comprehensive understanding of embedded SW development and the ability to find the minimalistic design solutions, your key competencies should be centered around the following:
The team you will be joining is also working on implementing audio algorithms, therefore some knowledge in audio DSP processing will be a plus.
