As our EMC Engineer, you'll work in our R&D center in Kolding, Denmark and play a crucial role part of the R&D team and will participate in the development of energy management products with special focus on 3 phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and power converters.

What You'll be doing:

  • Contribute to remove or to mitigate risk regarding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interferences (EMI) during all product life cycles from design proof of concept, development, or typical sustain/maintain stages
  • Collaborate with design engineers to advise on EMC requirements, test specifications and production of test procedures and reports as required
  • Create and execute EMC/EMI test plans for system and/or subsystems
  • Perform internal pre-liminary or pre-compliance EMC/EMI test for risk mitigation
  • Attend and support testing at external laboratories
  • Manage EMI/EMC product compliance related documentation (reports, certificates)
  • Specify and manage typical EMC/EMI test equipment when needed;
  • Support product field failure investigation if supposed to be EMI/EMC related in order to find root causes and propose feasible solutions
  • Train or mentoring new team members on the subject matter
  • Other assignments as required

What Will Help You Succeed:

  • You have a degree in electrical, electronics engineering or equivalent
  • You have a couple of years practical experience performing EMC testing
  • EMI test receivers, surge burst and ESD test, LISN networks etc have been a part of your daily work
  • Have Power converters, UPS or typical datacenter products EMC/EMI experience will be an advantage
  • You are fully proficient with written and spoken English
